After the rain roses look so beautiful so I dicided to give painting water droplets a go (never again! *giggle!). Fist painted in all the petals of this rose and then set about trying to paint water droplets. When I blew up the photo I was working from to get a better view of the water droplets, I was surprised to see that water droplets cast a shadow. Goodness me, painting water is not easy. And, having already painted the petals, I had to go back and repaint all the petals when adding the water shadows.
